As a Federal tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charity, tax ID#37-1787088, we are able to take your tax deductible donations to support causes and projects near and dear to our hearts. In the past few years we have raised funds that have supported the efforts of Plowshares in Ukiah, literacy programs in Mendocino County, fire relief efforts in Lake County, water treatment/conservation projects in Mexico, and earthquake relief efforts in Nepal, among many other causes.

Through the generosity of people like you, our work has made a difference in the lives of many around the world. Your gift to The Rotary Foundation allows us to improve communities by promoting peace, preventing disease, bolstering economic development, and providing clean water and sanitation.

You may make a tax-deductible contribution to the following programs/projects.
Vocational Awards Program: Awarded to a high school graduate or community college student working toward a certificate or degree in a vocational field.
Scholarship Fund: Awarded to outstanding students graduating from Ukiah High School and going to a four-year institution or to Mendocino College. Also, scholarships are awarded to Mendocino College students transferring to four-year institutions.
Dictionary Project: We provide each third grader in Mendocino public schools with their own personal dictionary each year.
Backpack Program: We assist families of dis-advantaged elementary school students feed their children by providing a backpack fool of food for the weekend during the school year.
Ameca River Project: A special project to fund the cleanup of the Ameca River Watershed in Mexico. This funding will provide low-tech water plants along the headwater, improve sanitation with better waste collection and recycling efforts, and to bring environmental awareness to the communities along the river.
Exchange Student Program: Help cover the expense of training new incoming and out-going high school exchange students, providing a monthly allowance, covering expenses incurring for attendance at various gatherings of the students during the school year, including the Rotary District 5130 Conference.
International Grant Fund: Used for various international projects. In the past we have provided funds to schools and water projects in Uganda.
